What is Freeze Thaw Weathering and how is it formed?
Freeze thaw weathering is when water gets into the cracks in the rock and freeze during the night. When water freezes, it expands and pushes the rock apart slowly. During this process, it forms another network of cracks in the rock. In the morning, it melts and becomes water again. The process repeats and over a period of time, the rock breaks.

Where is it normally found?
As its name suggests, freeze thaw weathering can only be done in places that are cold at night or have winter. You wouldn't find it in Borneo, since the weather is always hot and humid even at night. However, you can still find this in some deserts, since deserts get very cold at night.
